In this class we’ll dive into the spaces that so often hold tension — the shoulders and chest — and turn them into gateways for deeper, more expansive backbends. We’ll start with fluid movements and targeted engagement to awaken and support the muscles that keep your spine safe, before opening into a variety of heart-opening shapes. Expect variations of Bow, Camel, Dancer, King Pigeon, and even playful “alien” backbends. This practice blends strength, mobility, and flow, giving you both the stability and freedom to explore your backbends more fully.
